Nivedita Ojha

Nivedita Ojha co-founded Kamet after shaping product strategy in Vice President positions at Autodesk and FORT Robotics. Her prior work experiences in General Manager and Sr. Director of Product Management roles at Citrix, Philips, and Flex helped her build the foundation for entering the industrial automation business. Nivedita’s educational background includes a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Bombay, an MS from Mississippi State University, and an MBA from the University of Michigan. She has served as a Board Advisor who counsels companies to grow through innovations, acquisitions, and IPOs.
Nivedita's general philosophy for building business success starts with trust and empowering her team. Regarding product and business strategy, Nivedita always starts with a vision and visualization of the “North Star.” To set the direction for Kamet, Nivedita spoke with over 300 companies about their industrial automation challenges. This gave the company its mission of flipping the paradigm from chasing automation failures to preventing them and making recommendations to maximize operational efficiency.
Shaunak Mistry
CTO & Co-Founder
Shaunak Mistry was Principal Architect at Looker and Google, where he developed the Looker Enterprise platform for clients such as Walmart, Amazon and Apple, leading to a $2B acquisition. Before joining Kamet, Shaunak served as Vice President of Cloud & Security at FORT Robotics. Earlier in his career, Shaunak held a key architect role at Zenprise, where his data-centric approach to mobile security contributed to its acquisition by Citrix for $355M. With over 30 years of experience in building enterprise data platforms utilizing data analytics and now AI, Shaunak has been granted more than 20 patents in the fields of data and security. He co-founded Kamet to address industrial operations challenges through a data-centric approach.
Derek Thorslund
Head of Marketing
Derek Thorslund brings to Kamet a passion for creating innovative products that deliver a delightful, valuable and secure user experience, and propelling them to commercial success. During his extensive career in enterprise software Product Management and Product Marketing, Derek has taken multiple products to the market leader or challenger position. At Kamet, Derek is responsible for building market awareness of the value of our AI-powered predictive analytics platform and collaborating with our customers, partners and employees to create an exceptional product experience.
As Senior Director of Product Management at a $3 billion software company, Derek managed an annual R&D budget of $30M and nurtured its Unified Communications product from inception to widespread adoption, growing the installed base by over 500,000 daily active users in a single year. His experience includes evaluating and executing on mergers and acquisitions, and building partner ecosystems.
Derek has collaborated with Kamet’s CEO, Nivedita Ojha, in three prior companies. Our work on the Citrix “Homeforce” opportunity positioned that organization for 71% YoY subscription revenue growth in 2020. Subsequent experience at Autodesk and FORT Robotics has given Derek a deep appreciation of the opportunity to revolutionize industry through automation and robotics. Derek has been awarded five U.S. patents in networking, IoT device management and security.
Anders Ohlsson
VP Engineering & Cloud Operations
Anders Ohlsson is a seasoned technology executive with over two decades of experience in engineering leadership, business development, and client success.Anders is an accomplished executive with a distinguished career spanning over two decades in engineering leadership, business development, technical consulting and client success. Renowned for blending technical expertise with exceptional interpersonal skills, Anders has retained and renewed multi-million-dollar contracts with leading multi-billion-dollar media corporations.
Currently serving as the Vice President of Engineering and Cloud Operations at Kamet Automation, Inc., Anders oversees R&D, cloud infrastructure and spearheads partnerships with industrial automation vendors, robotics OEMs, and system integrators.
Before joining Kamet, Anders provided consultancy services as a fractional CTO/CIO, where he guided clients through complex technical transformations and systems migrations, and robust cybersecurity initiatives. Anders spent nearly a decade at WideOrbit, Inc., where he rose to the role of Senior Director of Software Engineering. He built and led the Proactive Performance Team for flagship products, supporting thousands of broadcast stations and driving client adoption of innovative telemetry data solutions. His stewardship extended to managing large-scale databases and application servers, achieving cost-effective resource allocation and system optimization.
